Nina’s Cabinet
I made this cabinet in exchange for free healthcare that my wife and I received during the pandemic. It is constructed of rough-sawn wormy maple that my mother pulled out of a barn somewhere in Michigan. It took me many weeks just to mill the lumber flat and to fill the holes with epoxy, but the final effect was worth it. The whole cabinet feels buttery smooth and looks like velvet.
