In Loving Memory of Kimo Keiter-Charles

My nephew Kimo was, among other things, a free-diver. After he was diagnosed with a terminal illness and could no longer go in the ocean, I wanted to make him something to cheer him up. I set out to make fish shapes out of sea glass from Glass Bottle Beach here in New York, but my attempts to make pieces of glass look like fish weren’t successful. So I decided instead to carve fish out of 2×4’s. I made each one a little different for fun.
